ZX-6R Best Middleweight Streetbike of 2011

Cycle World named the best bike in each category for its 2011 “Ten Best Bikes” issue, and when it comes to the “Middleweight Streetbike” (aka supersport) class, their choice–for the third year running–was the Kawasaki Ninja® ZX™-6R. Here is what the editors at Cycle World had to say about the ZX-6R’s latest victory:

“For a third year running, Team Green has been the envy of its class.”
“Although the latest Gixxer has closed the gap, it too came up short in both overall
performance and value.”
“It’s small money for a well-rounded streetable sportbike with good midrange
power followed by a 112-hp knockout punch.”
“Lunch time or lap time, the ZX-6R is ready.”

You can read the 10 Best Bikes story in its entirety in Cycle World’s September
2011 issue.
